But what do you want from me
Yes, over priced
Terrible! I got a Tuna Salad Sandwich from them on a Hero. It tasted okay. but the next few hours I was food poisoned and struggled for 24 hours. i reported them to the city.
Awesome.... why did we only find this place on the last day?? Ideal for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Good service and good food.
Ordered a tomato, cheese and basil panini.. $10. It was so soggy and disgusting it practically turned into an omelette. It smelled really bad also! AVOID at all costs!
Large selection of prepared food, but pricy.
A supermarket geared to prepared and takeout food. They have a small seating are in the front of the store. An amazing selection of prepared foods from hot an cold buffets to Asian including sushi.Opened 24 hours.
The best food ever!
Loved the self service and able to pick and choose from a variety of choices. This is similar to how it works in Moscow.
This is a couple of blocks from our hotel and had been great for a lot of our meals. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks plus beverages of all sorts - they have you covered. I will be recommending to my family and friends if they visit NYC.
Simple tasty food at a reasonable price:Well organized place with many different type of food gravitating towards Asia: curry rice, idon, sushi.I tasted the curry rice with chicken cuttlet. It was serve generously with the chicken cuttlet and the curry on top of rice. The curry was yummy with potatoes and mixed vegetable in a perfectly spiced gravy. The shop offers tons of drinks and snacks that you can buy too
Don’t bother with this place. First it is waaaaay over priced. Second, if you get ice cream, make sure you don’t knock over the small containers they have stacked on one another, teetering. The guy in the photo expects you to be able to see through the top container, without touching them, to see what flavors are underneath. He stacks the flavors that haven’t sold and tries to tell you they are all the same flavors. I found out he was not correct as there were several different flavors underneath. He is obviously trying to have you pick the flavors he wants to get rid of before the expiration.
More than I care to pay for food but there were still good choices. The Japanese noodles station and subs were the only ones open when I went. Stayed in the Roger Smith hotel across the way and this store was definitely convenient.
I didn't hate it, I just thought it was overpriced and I'm not a frugal person.
This place is across from the Lexington New York City Hotel and is fine for a quick meal. There is a grill as well as buffet and the food from the buffet is charged by weight. Asian food seems to be most common but there is a variety of other edibles. You can get something quick like boiled eggs or pastry and coffee to take out or eat in their small seating section. Prices are reasonable for NYC. And they have good cookies too. My friends had omelets which looked tasty. I can recommend this place readily.
Staying across the street and wanted a quick assortment of food at 7.30pm. Already tried another place when I came here so I was frustrated enough to give the soggy, shriveled and old looking food a try out of desperation. They had a wide assortment of choices even though many things not labeled or labeled incorrectly. We mostly got salads and the ribs and chicken as the best looking of what was there. It was worse than it looked. So dry and chewy. Spent well over $20 and was such a waste as we threw most of it away. Maybe when the food is put out fresh earlier it could be better? SMH!
We went to there because that location was in front of my Hotel. We didn't know there's information. Just we knew, there is general market. But there was great buffet and Convenience store. Boss and staff is really friendly and great. Price is not expensive. Really reasonable. We will go there again, when we will go NYC SOON.Enjoy trip with Ashley's fine food💕.
Wide selection of ready-made, to-order, and pre-packaged food.
Coffee is decent, would I ever come here again? Maybe if I hit the lottery!!I mean come on, I get it, the rents too damn high but holy baby Jesus.
When I finished ate here the food and hot coffee.Past 2 hours I feel very cold.my body same ice.I don’t know what happen. Then I read the police advice. If happen this can call police.Goodbye.I never come here again.
Good buffet, with plenty options.
Awesome find! We were staying at a nearby hotel while apartment searching and happened to find this little gem. They serve many different types of food that change throughout the day. You can get it buffet style or have someone cook you a fresh meal. The price is very reasonably for what you get. The plus side is that it is open 24/7! My boyfriend and I found an apartment in a different area but we both were hoping for a place like this in our neighborhood. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping here. Also, the staff is very friendly!
What a hidden gem this place is! Amazing value breakfast to take away or sit in
Foods are good. Store is clean. Prices are little high for that kind of store
I've been here twice and I found the place pretty average, the food is tasty and it has variety. You can get food by the pound and some other dishes. I assume it's popular among office workers from the neighborhood. The prices are not bad for Manhattan.
Best Turkey wrap I've ever had!
Pricey, but a nice selection of food, especially if you're in a hurry.
24hr food bar with plenty to choose from. Prices are reasonable for these type of places. Clean place to sit and eat. Checkout was friendly.
A Very good store lots of variety ,The food on display was cold though. It's nice that it's open, but that's nothing new for New York.
Excellent place to eat open 24/7 Food is fresh and cooked well, amazing choice wish we found it sooner if you don't want to pay a fortune to eat well come here.
Nice foods and nice place too. :)
Cheap but nice food in new York.
Looking for that late night snack after a long night... This place has a variety of selection and its really clean which is always a plus point. Was here twice and the same cook/chef was there, he did an amazing job of customizing my sandwich. Great service, really quick and if you want they have a sitting area with tables where you can enjoy your meal while its hot!
Favorite Buffet in Midtown, their food always taste amazing!! [Please bring back the CBD brownies🙏🏽]
Open 24hrs. Very convenient, but very expensive? Only thing open in the area, worth it I guess??
The beef tofu soup I had today is not fresh. The beef went bad. So disappointed
We stayed in the adjacent Lexington Hotel February 2018 and Ashley's was across the street. Very convenient deli, open 24hours offering a wide range of fresh food, sandwiches pizza etc, you can eat in as it has a few tables and chairs. Not the cheapest of delis but the range of food is excellent
I had 5 or 6 different greens, and 3 meats and fishes for $22...plus brown rice...my daily routine...healthy for rich and not so...lots of room and big clean restroom...what's not to like.Oops -- I need to mention that the night cash register guy on the right-hand side, closest to Lexington Ave, has been caught, by me, OVERCHARGING by $5-10 by leaving in a prior subtotal. The prior guy there cheated as well, but his sister reassigned his grinning a---- to the other Ashley location...they could use weight scales for customers...and an internal audit.
Nice place reasonable prices
Good food, hot or cold, they'll make any sandwich you want, also, noodles to your liking, or just hit the self serve island and pack your own.
Yuck. Just yuck. I work nearby and have had two bad experiences there in the last month. Rotten roast beef which I took one bite of and made me sick for 24 hours; I returned the rest of the sandwich. Also, flank steak at the buffet which seamed fine but gave me the Shi*s for 6 hours. Not going back to risk a third episode. There’s a reason for the “B” rating.
Like other users have stated this place is way overpriced. Wasn’t interested in the food and just thirsty. Paid 9 dollars for a small bottle of juice! And then i wanted to put it back and get soemthing else cause thats way too expensive for a 250ml bottle of juice!. The owner or clerk said sorry everything is no refunds. What a joke... avoid. Theres a duane reed down the street has quick snacks and juices for way less
I stumbled upon this gem very hungover one morning. I don’t care how expensive it is, it saved my life. Awesome full buffet, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, breads. And then an awesome seating area. Would love one near my apartment
Favorite late-night spot by Grand Central when nothing is open.
Prices beat anywhere else in the city! Bacon cheeseburger was fabulous. Must have had 1/4 lbs of bacon.
It was ok. A vast variety of food no matter you're diet. There are choices for everyone. Could use better signage and price layouts. As well as food monitoting and replenishment especially for higher temperature kept meals.. good ramen noodles.
I can say the food is good but can be improved
The salad bar is very good. Very well organized store.
Portions large, lots of variety. Definitely ok/good but not totally awesome.
Best choice for breakfast with plenty of choices from pancakes, waffles, brownies, croissants, eggs, sausages, fruits (I loved the mango, sliced, ripe and tasty!) oatmeal, bagels, yogurts etc. etc. ...literally everything! You put what you want in a plastic or paper bowl, then it gets weighed and you pay. there are few tables to sit.
Lots of variety, including healthy options, for a reasonable price. Ideal for tourists wanting a quick bite as well as makes a good working lunch
